The Monsters are back! All new monsters for a new year.

These are the three most recent monsters from the  Brier Patch Etsy shop. www.etsy.com/shop/BlackBerryThorn
Things got a little slow these last few months, but the monsters are back. Keep watching the shop for new monsters every week.
Also, coming soon- prints! In addition to the monsters I also do Intaglio and Litho printmaking.
So watch out for those as well as glicee prints in my shop in the coming weeks.
Happy New Year!

Teddy Bear Monsters All Dressed Up

There has always been something fascinating for me about ruffs. A ruff, for those not familiar with the term, was a very popular style of collar worn in western Europe, most notably during the Elizabethan period. I really enjoy them, and I love to dress up my monsters with my own rendition of the ruff. Here I have used some very pretty laces and ribbons for the purpose.
As always, find these two and many other monsters here: www.etsy.com/shop/BlackBerryThorn
